Just a line to introduce our new CD ‘Spies’. I say ‘our’ because many talented people have made invaluable contributions. Lots of other people joined Spud, Charlie and myself to play and sing (including on one track, my daughter Rose). Alex Warnes of Pheonix Studios made a huge contribution and, as always, Paul and Linda Adams run a tight record company and gallery.

Rick

This is a slightly more broad album than ‘Escape’ and explores lyrically and musically a more expansive territory. Again, the nucleus of Rick’s music is a trio combo delivering good rock well played. Within the hour this album plays ( the length a sure sign they are enjoying themselves) you will hear elements of Dire Straits and Deep Purple in a fusion that can also take in an almost Roy Harper type style on ‘Great Divide’. Still plenty of rock to be heard though and you can bet that if, as Rick hopes, the band get to play live after the release of the third album, they’ll give you a damn good night out !
